Egg White Pizza

Pizza crust…made from egg whites!

On a day I was a bit behind on my protein consumption I concocted this egg white pizza to have something delicious that got my intake up! Yes, I’m aware I didn’t invent egg white pizza crusts, I’m just sharing with the world what I did for mine.

Egg White Pizza

Makes 1 Serving. Each Serving: 310 Calories; 5C/14F/45P

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup Egg Whites (I used the Kirkland brand from Costco)
  • 60 grams Light Cheddar Cheese (I used the Cracker Barrel Shredded Cheddar Mozza from Sobey's)
  • 70 grams Black Forest Ham (I used Natural Selections Smoked Black Forest Ham)
  • 1/4 Cup Pizza Sauce (I used Primo Traditional Pizza Sauce)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Whisk egg whites and 30 grams of the cheese in a bowl.

  3. Heat your pan and spritz it with non-cooking spray and fry the egg whites/cheese mixture, lightly browning both sides.

  4. Transfer to a baking sheet or pizza pan and top with pizza sauce, ham and remainder of cheese.

  5. Bake until the top is golden brown. Enjoy!
