What I Eat In A Day

Who used to love reading “What I Eat in A Day” in the back of People Magazine?

It featured a different celebrities’ food diary for a day. This is kind of like that, except I’m not famous so a lot less people actually care what I eat 😆 But as I promised in the podcast I would lay out what a typical day looks like for me now for you to be able to compare what a 7 day meal plan (download your free copy here) look liked for me when I started my successful journey.

Breakfast: Kodiak pancake with Walden’s Maple Syrup, egg white, fajita mix & light cheese omelette with ham or a side of back bacon. My other go to is some oatmeal, Greek yogurt, raspberries and protein powder or mixing those ingredients with some chia and almond milk for overnight oats.

Lunch: Pita pizzas, sandwiches, wraps or leftovers from the night before including veggies, fibre-rich grains, lean protein and light condiments.

Dinner: Lean protein and veggies don’t have to be boring. Some fun ways we love (and do quite frequently) are doing tacos, taco salads or a delicious BBQ’d meal.

Snacks: I am the snack queen. I love protein bars, popcorn (with butter!), ice cream (duh), jerky, Chee-Cha puffs or Spokes.

Drinks: I’m a zero cal drinker for the most part except for the cream in my coffee. I always make sure I drink 6 glass of regular ol’ H20 before I have any with bubbles or water enhancers. Other favs include Sparkling Ice & Fruit20.

For me I don’t mind automating the same meal a few times a week. Obviously we mix it up from time to time but this is a very accurate view of a day in the life! I hope this gave you some new ideas.
