Awesome Things WILL Happen
I have talked about it before, negativity breeds negativity.
Until we change our mindset, we will never reap the benefits from literally anything. The vibe we put out into the world will also be the one that we attract. If everything always sucks and you hate it, nothing positive is going to come from that. And no one has ever hated themselves into doing anything positive.
Keep your chin up, someday everything will make perfect sense but it’s your outlook on it that will help shape the path it takes. The power of your state of mind is so much greater than people even realize!
If you think not being able to eat whatever you want whenever you want, having to exercise, doing things that are good for you but you just don’t like is THE WORST, then it will be. If you frame it in a sense of how you are taking control of your health to live the longest, happiest, healthiest life you can live, then you might actually start enjoying these things you’re so resistant of.
If we at least respect the process, it will treat us well in return. If we try to take all the shortcuts, and end up disappointed and hating the results each time, it will continue to fail us and so will the hateful cycle with it. Change your mind, change your outcome. If we’re talking about the vibe that we put out into the universe, there’s also a quote that keeps popping up in my newsfeed. It says: “Don’t fake it ’til you make it. Face it ’til you make it. Get up. Work hard. Fail. Stand back up. Face it again. Do a little better. Fail again.” I actually really dislike the saying “Fake it ’til you make it.” I don’t think anyone is doing themselves any favours by following that mantra. Why would anyone aspire to be fake? The universe only responds to the real you!
A long time ago I ran a business that failed and I was embarrassed about that fact. I put my tail between my legs for a bit but realized I needed to try again and it hasn’t stopped me from trying to run another successful business because I had a bad experience. Being embarrassed of failure is a hard concept to get over but I’m learning that not only does it teach me things along the way, if I share my mistakes with others it helps them too. Learn from your past and do it better! No one wants to keep repeating the past over again anyways. I know I’m not the same person I was even a year ago, so I definitely can’t keep living life the same or expecting things not to change, nor do I want to! I want to continue chasing my dreams and goals and never want to fall into a trap of complacency.
Keep on keeping on and use those setbacks as lessons, but mainly think about the person that you are portraying and ask yourself if it’s doing you an favours or not.
