Babybel Burgers
Need a summer meal to impress your guests?
These Babybel burgers are a tried and true favourite. Although I can’t take credit for this burger idea, it is one we make on repeat during the summer. The cheese gets gooey in the inside and is so delicious! Try them out for yourself or the next time you have guests over, I guarantee they will quickly become apart of your summer food rotation.

Ingredients
- 600 g Extra lean ground beef raw
- 6 Light Babybel cheeses
- 1/2 Cup Egg whites
- 2 tsp Dried onion flakes
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 3 Slices Little Big Bread
Instructions
-
In a large mixing bowl mix the thawed extra lean ground beef and egg whites and set aside.
-
In a blender or food processor, rip apart pieces of the bread and blend until dry crumbs form. Add the bread crumbs to the meat mixture along with the rest of the onion powder, garlic, and salt. Mix well.
-
Unwrap the 6 Babybel cheese pieces. Portion the meat mixture into 6 burger portions and divide each of those into 2 for a total of 12 portions. Take 1/12 of the meat mixture and flatten slightly, placing one of the Babybel cheeses in the middle. Top with another 1/12 of the meat mixture and cover until the cheese is not showing through. Continue this with the remaining burger portions and Babybel cheeses until 6 burgers are formed.
-
Cook the burgers on the grill on medium heat until cooked as desired. Enjoy on a bun (or lettuce wrapped) with your favourite toppings!
