Make Time For Your Wellness

The thought of hospitals, needles, meds, and chronic pain actually scares me! 

Can you imagine being debilitated, needing care and being constantly uncomfortable?

Before I started my health journey I was tired a lot. Sleeping in and naps were life. I consumed A LOT of caffeine. Multiple cups of coffee along with a couple energy drinks a day 🙈 I sat around watching tv, laying on the couch and scrolling social media mindlessly for hours of my day. And yet I was “too busy”. I was too busy because I was exhausted. Even considering to cook something was tiring when I could grab something quick instead.

I couldn’t fathom fitting something as simple as a walk and working out seemed hopeless. I also experienced some gut issues and digestive difficulties (that have miraculously cleared up since I started eating better 🤔). My monthly cramps were horrible. I didn’t even think that any of this wasn’t normal?! I assumed it’s just how people felt 🤷‍♀️

This isn’t normal. Yes, I know there are certain cases where some of these things can’t be fixed just with a lifestyle change but in my case they 💯 could be. I will never settle for feeling like that ever again. I want to be out there kickin ass for as long as I can. I want to put myself in the best position for my future. While I don’t think all major disease can be solved by just leading a healthy lifestyle, I want to be the strongest version of myself if I’m ever faced with something like that.

Be good to your body, after all it’s the only one we get and yet sometimes it’s the thing we take for granted the most. ⠀
