Protein Red Velvet Cake

A delicious alternative to a bakery favorite.

Protein Red Velvet Cake

Makes 4 Servings. Each Serving: 226 Calories; 24C/6F/20P - 3g Fiber

Ingredients

Bake Batter

  • Cup Pumpkin Puree
  • 2 Tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • ½ Cup Water
  • 4 Tsp Butter
  • ¼ Cup Flour
  • 1 Tbsp Cocoa Powder
  • 1.5 Scoops Vanilla Protein Powder
  • ¼ Cup Sweetener (I used Truvia)
  • 1 Tsp Baking Soda
  • 2 Tsp Red Food Coloring

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat your oven to 350

  2. Mix together wet cake batter ingredients

  3. Mix together dry cake batter ingredients

  4. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and stir until everything is mix well

  5. Spray baking pan with non-stick cooking spray

  6. Split evenly into two pans and bake for 10-12 minutes

  7. Mix together icing ingredients

  8. Once cake has cooled ice the tops of each cake and stack on top of one another
