Chicken Babybel Burgers

Taking Chicken Burgers to the Next Level

Chicken Babybel Burgers

Makes 6 burgers. Each burger: 212 Calories; 6C/8F/30P

Ingredients

  • 600 g Lean Ground Chicken
  • 6 Light Babybel Cheeses
  • ½ Cup Egg Whites
  • 2 Tsp Dried Onion Flakes
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Tsp Garlic Powder
  • 3 Slices Little Big Bread

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl mix the thawed lean ground chicken, egg whites and set aside.

  2. In a blender or food processor, rip apart pieces of bread and blend until crumbs form. Add bread crumbs to the meat mixture along with the rest of the onion powder, garlic and salt. Mix well.

  3. Unwrap the 6 babybel cheese pieces, portion the meat mixture into 6 burger portions and divide those in half for a total of 12 portions. Take 1/12 of the meat mixture and flatten slightly, placing one of the babybel cheeses in the middle. Top with the other 1/12 of the meat mixture and cover until the cheese is not showing through. Continue this with the remaining burger portions and babybel cheese until 6 burgers are formed.

  4. Cook burgers on the grill on medium heat until cooked as desired.
