Apple Cinnamon Loaf
A delicious way to get your fruit in
Apple Cinnamon Loaf
Makes 8 Servings. Each Serving: 72 Calories; 10C/1F/6P - 2 Fiber
Ingredients
- 1 Egg
- ⅓ cup Egg whites
- 160 ml Milk (I used Fairlife 2%)
- ¼ cup Applesauce
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 2 tbsp No Sugar Added Syrup (I used E.D. Smith)
- 35 g Whole Wheat Flour
- 30 g Vanilla Protein Powder (I used Clean Simple Eats)
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 200 g Apples. sliced thinly and quartered
- 1 tsp Baking Soda
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350F.

Mix together all of the sweet ingredients in a bowl then stir in the dry ingredients until mixed well.

Fold in the sliced apples (I used a mandolin to get them thin enough so they work in this recipe - they have to be sliced very thinly).

Spray a loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray and pour the mixture into it.

Bake for 40-45 minutes or until cooked completely through.
