Beef Stroganoff

Lightened up beef stroganoff that is perfect for busy week nights!

This healthier version tastes just as great as the traditional recipe without the added fat. You won’t miss the butter and cream in this recipe, and will never know it’s replaced with plain Greek yogurt!

Beef Stroganoff

Makes 3 Servings. Each Serving: 285 Calories; 10F/16C/32P - 2 Fibre

Ingredients

  • 8 oz Sirloin steak raw
  • 1 Cup Chopped onion
  • 2 Cups Chopped mushrooms
  • 1 Cup Plain fat free Greek yogurt
  • 2 Tbsp No-Sugar added Ketchup
  • 2 Tbsp Soya Sauce
  • 4 Tbsp Fat free cream cheese
  • 1/4 Cup Chicken broth
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt, pepper & garlic powder to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown meat and set aside.

  2. Sautee onions and mushroom and then add the rest of the ingredients.

  3. Add the meat to the sauce. Stir and let simmer until tender. Add additional chicken broth if too thick.

  4. Serve with preferred side. I mixed half a cup of rice into mine to make it the perfect meal! Enjoy!
