Slow Cooker Sloppy Joe Bowl

Makes 8 Servings. Each Serving: 263 Calories; 10gF/18gC/24gP - 2g

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Ketchup (I used Heinz Sugar Free Ketchup)
  • 2 lbs Extra lean ground beef
  • 3 Cups Canned, diced tomatoes
  • 2 Brown onions, diced
  • 4 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Spray a slow cooker with non-stick spray and turn it to medium heat.

  2. Add the raw ground beef to the slow cooker (you can alternatively brown the meat before adding it to the slow cooker for less of a cook time).

  3. After dicing the onion, add the remaining ingredients to the slow cooker over top of the beef.

  4. Stir the ingredients together well, cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 4 hours. You could also brown the beef and onion prior to putting in the crockpot and reduce the cooking time.

  5. Serve on a whole wheat bun, over riced cauliflower or spaghetti squash for a lower carb option, or even on a baked potato!
