10 High Protein Snacks You Can Buy At Costco

It’s easy to go to Costco needing only a few thingS…

and then suddenly your bill comes out to $700 and you’re leaving with a Margaritaville and a Dyson (in our case last time it was a giant floating party island 🤦‍♀️). As long as you manage to avoid the junk food section, you can snag some healthy options at Costco for a fraction of the price.

We scoured the aisles to find the tastiest high-protein snacks you can buy (in this case, 7 or more grams of protein per serving), ranging from sweet to savory and creamy to crunchy—with many of them easy to grab on your way out the door. Trust me, the whole family will thank you when you stock up.

Protein Bars
Protein bars make for great snacks on the go and are super convenient. Costco sells a variety of bars all ranging in protein content. These are some of my favourites with the protein hitting 10-20g per bar!
Detour Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Bars
Pure Protein Bars
Detour Bars
Clif Builder Bars

Sliced Deli Meats
Prepackaged deli meats make for a easy protein source when you are short on time and need to throw together a meal or snack quickly! One of my favourite snacks is pairing Kirkland Deli Ham slices with Suzie’s Thin Rice Cakes and Light Babybel cheese for a satisfying snack that is easy to pack for traveling too!

Greek Yogurt Dip
Kirkland Plain Greek Yogurt is a staple in my house. It comes in packages of 3 and is a perfect protein packed snack. I like to mix it with some Hidden Valley Ranch Mix and use it as a dip for veggies and crackers as a savoury option!

Kodiak Cakes
You might recognize this product for its delicious pancakes and waffles, but it is much more versatile than just for breakfast foods. You can use it to make a variety of tasty snacks such as my Banana & Blueberry Muffins! I always have a box of Kodiak Cakes on hand as it provides an easy snack with 14g of protein per 1/2 cup serving.

Canned Tuna
Kirkland Canned Tuna is an extremely convenient protein snack to stock up on. With a long shelf life and ease of use when traveling, I like to pair the tuna with Mary’s Gone Wild Crackers for an extra crunch.

Protein Smoothie
Costco sells different Whey Protein Powders that are useful for making protein smoothies when you find yourself short on time. The MusclePharm Combat Protein and Kaizen Whey Isolate pair well with Silk Almond Milk and Kirkland Signature Three Berry Blend (both purchased at Costco as well) for a filling smoothie that satisfies my sweet tooth when the cravings hit!

Beef Jerky & Hard Boiled Eggs
Costco stocks many different brands of beef jerky, but one of my favourites is the Oberto’s Beef Jerky. Pair it with some Burnbrae Farm Hard Boiled Eggs and you have a perfect high protein snack to keep you fuelled.

Cottage Cheese
Cottage cheese makes a great snack as not only is it packed with protein, but it is very versatile. Enjoy it with some fruit on the side or mixed in, on top of crackers or with veggies! Sealtest Cottage Cheese comes in packs of two to keep you stocked up!

Individual Greek Yogurt
As mentioned previously, Costco has large tubs of Greek yogurt, but they also have mini individual portioned Greek yogurts. These are perfect if you find yourself on the go or need a quick protein snack to throw in you lunch. The Oikos or Kirkland Signature Greek yogurts are some of my favourites to have on hand.

Cool Way Ice Cream Bars
These are a newer Costco find but are the perfect sweet treat that satisfy your cravings without a lot of calories. These bars offer 7 grams of protein and make a great summertime (or anytime) treat that will contribute to your protein intake!
