Slow Cooker Sloppy Joe Bowl
Makes 8 Servings. Each Serving: 263 Calories; 10gF/18gC/24gP - 2g
Ingredients
- 1 Cup Ketchup (I used Heinz Sugar Free Ketchup)
- 2 lbs Extra lean ground beef
- 3 Cups Canned, diced tomatoes
- 2 Brown onions, diced
- 4 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
-
Spray a slow cooker with non-stick spray and turn it to medium heat.
-
Add the raw ground beef to the slow cooker (you can alternatively brown the meat before adding it to the slow cooker for less of a cook time).
-
After dicing the onion, add the remaining ingredients to the slow cooker over top of the beef.
-
Stir the ingredients together well, cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 4 hours. You could also brown the beef and onion prior to putting in the crockpot and reduce the cooking time.
-
Serve on a whole wheat bun, over riced cauliflower or spaghetti squash for a lower carb option, or even on a baked potato!
