Protein Birthday Mug Cake
Makes 1 Serving. Each Serving: 195 Calories; 6C/27P/7F - 1 Fibre
Ingredients
- 1 Scoop (28g) Vanilla protein powder
- 1 tbsp (8g) All purpose flour
- 1/2 tbsp Butter
- 2 tbsp (28g) Plain fat-free Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp Sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
-
Mix everything together (you can microwave the butter for 5-10 seconds for easy mixing) and transfer to a separate mug, small bowl, or ramekin sprayed with a bit of nonstick spray.
-
Microwave for 45-60 seconds. The size of your bowl/mug will affect cook time. Keep an eye on it so it doesn’t get rubbery.

Cinnamon Roll in a Mug
Makes 1 Serving. Each Serving: 265 Calories; 35C/9P/10F - 2 Fibre
Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup (60g) Bisquick
- 1/4 Cup (56g) Plain fat-free Greek yogurt
- 1/2 tbsp Butter
- 1 tbsp Ground Cinnamon
- 1 tbsp Truvia
Sugar Free Glaze
- 2 tbsp (18g) Swerve confectioners or a powdered sugar substitute
- 1/2 tbsp water
Instructions
-
Mix the Bisquick and Greek yogurt together in a bowl, stirring until you can form one ball of dough.
-
Use your hands to press the dough as flat as possible. For best results, use a rolling pin or the backside of a rubber spatula to get the dough as thin as possible.
-
Microwave the butter for 5-10 seconds until melted before stirring in the cinnamon and sweetener. Spread the mixture over the center of the dough.
-
Roll the cinnamon roll dough lengthwise before cutting the roll in half. (If you rolled your dough in a long thin rectangle, you may not need to cut the dough.)
-
Place the rolls in a small mug, cut side up. (If you'd like to coat the outside of the cinnamon roll, you can roll them in more cinnamon/sweetener or gently rub any remaining cinnamon sugar spread on the outside before microwaving.)
-
Microwave for 90-120 seconds or until the cinnamon rolls are cooked in the center.
-
While the cinnamon rolls cook, mix the powdered sugar substitute with water and stir until smooth. Add the glaze to the cinnamon rolls when they're done cooking. Enjoy!

Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl or mug. If you'd like to easily remove the brownie from the mug after cooking, transfer the protein brownie batter to a second mug or bowl sprayed with nonstick cooking spray.
-
Microwave for 1-1.5 minutes for a single recipe or 2-2.5 minutes for a double recipe. Depending on the size of your bowl, watch for overflow. Enjoy!
